About

“If you don’t want to be in a story, don’t know a writer.”
~Ethan Mordden in Buddies
About This Site
Welcome to the NEW Official Web Site & Blog for Writer and Performer, Michael Van Kerckhove. This new home base is the continuation of my other Web site, MichaelVKPlaywright.com.

My goals for this site are twofold: 1. A more user friendly go-to site for info on my writerly and theatrical activities as my creative life evolves. The blog will serve as a place for News & Announcements. 2. Since I have a private/friends only blog elsewhere, I want this site to also serve as a place for more public thoughts and musings on life, culture, life, inspiration, etc. Whatever I feel I guess.

At this point, the site will not serve as a place to “self publish” full pieces of fiction/non-fiction/plays, etc. In part, this is due to the nature of the publishing industry, and a protection of my babies. If you’re interested in reading something, please let me know.

Unlike the last site, this site is not members-based. Feel free to post comments in the blog and/or send a shout out in the guest book. This will also give you an opportunity to include a link to your own site/blog.

Have fun, and enjoy!
And Hey, if you found this site because you Googled me (because I know you’re out there…), drop me a note and say Hello. :-)
