He didn't think he could do that all alone, he needed help, and he knew that. Why would he make all those songs like "Man in the mirror", We are the World", "Heal the World, "Human nature" and the rest of it, if he didn't try to tell us something? "Let's realize that a change can only come when we stand together as one", is one of his many touching sentences in "We are the World", and that was also what he tried to make us understand. Did we listen? It looks like your interest is more geared to WWII than military necessarily, but I'd put the two mini-series neck and neck as the best I've seen (and I'm not a war nut).
